Built from eight years inside research operations.
Research Configuration is a Maryland-based consultancy founded by Afton Covey, who spent eight years in clinical research operations at an academic cancer center and learned REDCap the practical way: by building studies in it. That work spans NIH-funded, multi-site trials with research teams at nine NCI-designated cancer centers. We specialize in multi-site trials, randomized controlled trials, longitudinal cohorts, bilingual surveys, and the workflows that keep them running. The idea behind the company is simple: technology supports workflows, workflows support people, and people support science.
